Who we are..
Chase Recovery is a recovery community organisation brought together by those with lived experience of addictions and recovery to help those who are just starting out on their journey, and to offer networks of aftercare and support throughout Staffordshire.
Chase Recovery
We had to start somewhere right? and that somewhere is Stafford and Cannock. We will be expanding our recovery reach into Newcastle-under-Lyme from April 2025 as we build momentum, find more volunteers, train more recovery coaches and learn from our own experience.
Chase Recovery is open to anyone interested in all aspects of recovery from drink, drugs, or any other addiction which is holding you back. It is for individuals looking for help and support, their friends and families, concerned others and people who work in the field and organisations who wish to support our cause.
Our Aims
Promotion
To promote that recovery from addiction is possible for the people of Staffordshire.
Health & Wellbeing
To improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Staffordshire affected by addiction.
Support Networks

Community

Reduce Stigma
To reduce the stigma attached to those affected by addiction in Staffordshire.
Our Values
As a Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO), we know that we can spout all the values we want. What really matters is what we do!
Please check out our family group if you’re affected by someone else’s drinking or drug use.
At Chase Recovery we try to practise what we preach. Some of these principles (or values) are essential if we want to be in recovery, and some are works in progress.
Only by spending time with us is it possible to judge if our behaviour is congruent with our principles.
By far, our most important principles are learning to be Honest, Open minded and Willing.
We don’t care much for gossip and drama, avoiding it at all costs. We believe we have created an inviting, comfortable safe space where individuals are treated with compassion, dignity and respect.
We want to help people gain a new life of meaning and purpose.
The best way we have found is our 28 week therapeutic Freedom Programme It is designed to help those of us who suffer from repeated drug and alcohol misuse (addiction). It is for people who are sick and tired of being sick and tired; and all the mental, social, emotional and physical misery that go with it.
The Freedom Programme is the foundation of successful recovery outcomes. It is designed, written and delivered by people in recovery from addiction. It is a ‘toolbox’ drawn from personal experiences, knowledge and achievements of those who have found their own recovery path
We know we can only give away what we have. We call this Visible, Contagious Recovery
Please believe us when we say, We can and do Recover. If we can, then you can too!
