Voices@62
Voices at 62 is a group of people who want to sing together. It is a safe place for people to come together, make friends and be uplifted by the power of song. Our aim is to highlight the importance of recovery through song and music. We are a beginner-friendly choir, so no musical or singing experience is required. We welcome everyone. Our priorities are to make everyone feel welcome, to create a sense of belonging, enjoy, learn to sing together and achieve success – culminating in very occasional performance, if desirable.
This weekly singing group is for anyone affected by problematic drug or alcohol use, people in recovery or working towards recovery, their family members and friends.
We are not about musical excellence. There is no criticism and lots of encouragement. Treat this singing group with care and consideration and it will continue to be truly healing and fabulous.
